Leather vs Cowhide?

You will notice that some of my products are made from leather, and some from cowhide. I choose them based on which best suits each individual project, but what does the difference mean for you? 

Cowhide is a byproduct of the food industry, while - in the context of this store, at least - leather comes from cattle raised solely for their hides. 

(It's true that cowhide can be processed into leather, but that's just confusing things.)

If you're a vegetarian or prefer a "nose to tail" approach when it comes to consuming animal products, then cowhide might suit you!
